If you grew up in the 90s and early 2000s you are well aware of how industry beauty standards took over the world. From the rise of the video vixen to the take over of social media. It wasn't new then and it's not new now, but for some reason the issue still persists. False beauty standards continue to hurt our children and perpetuate a false sense of confidence that easily falls a part in today's society.
